Audit engagement software for CPA firms
Move this season’s audit out of scattered files—without losing review control.
Import the trial balance once, document work in a shared engagement file, clear review notes against the exact workpaper, and export a firm-branded final package.
7-day free trial · No credit card required.

One file from import through review
Keep the team’s evidence, conclusions, review notes, and sign-offs attached to the engagement instead of reconciling separate spreadsheets and folders at the end.
- 01
Set up the engagement
Choose the entity and framework, assign the team, and bring in the trial balance.
- 02
Document the work
Complete planning and fieldwork in guided workpapers. Attach evidence and record conclusions in the file.
- 03
Review and finalize
Clear review notes, apply preparer and reviewer stamps, check readiness, and produce the permanent-file package.
Before and after the move
See how the workflow changes when balances, workpapers, review notes, and sign-offs stay in one engagement file.
- Before: repeated setup
- Balances, lead schedules, workpapers, and status are reconciled across separate files.
- After: one imported foundation
- The versioned trial balance maps to cycles and seeds work inside the engagement.
- Before: review by file chasing
- Questions live in email or comments, and reviewers must find the supporting version.
- After: review on the record
- Notes, evidence, conclusions, immutable versions, and sign-offs remain tied to the workpaper.
- Before: manual final-file assembly
- Teams check status and gather output from several locations before release.
- After: documented blockers and export
- Role-gated finalization checks open items before the firm-branded package is produced.
Verify the boundaries in What’s live today, then review the methodology and coverage basis.
Firm control and data handling
Firm and engagement access is role-based. Production secrets are held in the hosting environment, and the application records security-relevant activity. The security page describes the controls and their current limits.
Professional judgment remains with the firm
GAASFlow supports audit documentation and review. It does not approve an engagement, determine the appropriate report, replace a firm’s quality-management policies, or guarantee a peer-review result.
Pricing
Starter begins at $349 per month.
Five users are included. Professional and Firm plans add seats and service options; the core engagement workflow is included on each paid plan.
Questions firms ask before trying it
Who is GAASFlow intended for?
Independent and growing CPA firms (about 2–40 assurance professionals) that want a structured cloud engagement file without a long enterprise implementation.
What is included in the trial?
The 7-day trial includes the working application, three user seats, and the completed Summit Ridge sample engagement. No credit card is required.
Can we use our own audit methodology?
GAASFlow includes an original, firm-adaptable methodology library. Firms remain responsible for approving their methodology and applying professional judgment to each engagement.
Can several people work in the same engagement?
Yes. Roles, assignments, review notes, electronic stamps, and activity history are kept in the shared engagement file.
What can we export?
GAASFlow generates a governed, hash-manifested report-package PDF and embeds the exact file in the portable engagement ZIP. Firms can also print a detailed workpaper package with electronic stamps. GAASFlow is not a complete general ledger.
Inspect the evidence before starting a trial.
Sample workpapers, a binder index, and authentic product screens are public. The trial unlocks the complete multi-user sample.
